Review on Bamboo Home Bread Slicer: ๐Ÿž Achieve Perfectly Sliced Bread at Home by Clarence Calcara

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overall not bad but some improvements

I bought this slicer with a crumb tray to cut bread more evenly and minimize mess. desired slice size. The bread guide is really very useful for keeping the bread in place. The crumb tray has a very effective non-slip grip that is held securely while cutting. The crumb tray is also a cute serving tray and the bamboo looks good enough to serve guests. Cons: The thickness of the gaps makes it difficult to get the slices very close together. Since the folding sides are flexible and foldable, they will move a bit during cutting. It would help if the pages stayed stationary while cutting. The included knife could have simply been omitted from this set as it felt a bit dull to me and made cutting difficult. Many of my issues were resolved when I switched to my regular bread knife. Also, a very long bread knife (add 2 inches to the standard size) would really make this bread slicer a great investment. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but again the knife could have been left out to either reduce costs or increase product development on the wobbly sides. I am still satisfied based on the cost of the bamboo and the item in general, although I will purchase a longer bread knife to use the product more efficiently.
