Review on 🎤 MAONO AU-A04 USB Microphone: Professional 192KHZ/24Bit PC Podcast Cardioid Metal Mic for Recording, Gaming, Singing, YouTube by Paul Beach

As a creator, I use many different types of microphones. More specifically, it's a complete kit that's a complete package that's ready to go if you have a computer with an available USB 2 or 3 port to connect to. In the box, you get microphone scissors, a hand clip, a shock absorber to attach the microphone, a windscreen, a pop screen, a USB cable with a ferrite core installed in it, and of course, the microphone itself. It's truly a plug and play setup, which didn't require me to install any software or drivers. I plugged it in and it worked. I should mention, however, that it works very loudly and is set to 100% volume by default in the microphone settings. Set this value to around 50% and you should be fine. This will help reduce tons of background noise that you would otherwise get. Keep in mind that this is a condenser mic, not dynamic, so it needs a USB port for power and is more sensitive than a dynamic mic, making it easier for you to pick up background noise. It's not the mic's fault or its quality, it's just how condenser mics work. Use it in a soundproof environment to get the best effect. Let's go through the good and the bad. Here's what I've noticed in testing so far. .PRO:1. Good Build Quality – The all-metal construction says a lot about this microphone set. It has a good build quality and seems to stand up to some travel, the arm is also metal and seems pretty solid.2. Complete kit - everything you need in one place, even the pop filter and windshield, it was nice.3. warm tone. It seems to be a pleasant warm tone. I like to use compression and EQ to get a specific sound out of the mics, it comes closer to what I'm aiming for by default, so that was nice. Easy to Install - It only took me 1 minute to set everything up, I installed the mount, attached the mic, plugged it in and I was done. CONS: 1. Already compressed audio. It seemed to me that there was some kind of digital compression going on behind the scenes that I hadn't added myself. It ended up being a bit stiffer than I would have liked, it still sounds pretty good although it's not that big of a deal just wanted to let you all know. Some sort of carrying case is included so you can take it with you on the go to have everything in one recording setup with you on the go. It would be nice to be able to host a full setup podcast if I can't make it home. Just a weird thought. Can I propose this and to whom? Yes I would suggest that, I would say YouTubers and podcasters should check it out. This is a good set to start with until you eventually start upgrading your gear bit by bit. He's fine and believes it will stay that way.
