Although one of the main images above shows the assembly, it does not show the triangular element visible in the second large image in the product description (the one with the hamster looking at the camera). Make sure it's positioned correctly: while the large picture shows a triangle just behind the wheel with the notched side in (i.e. cage), I placed it in the same position but with the smooth side of the Triangle in and it worked. Make sure you insert the longer end of the double ended bolt into the front of the wheel so that the longer end is accessible from the back as it will fit snugly along with the triangle, grill bars, washer and wing nut - i.e. the wing nut will not have much thread to secure everything when everything else is in place.
