The stand is well balanced with a solid base. Arms are bent at different angles and ranges. I didn't use this to set up 4 monitors, I installed one of the HP Elitedesk Minis upstairs and ran the cables behind it to the mini UPS. The idea was to create something that could simply be unplugged and moved to another "box" when needed - all in one, ready for use where a laptop isn't perfect. All in all it was too heavy for the concept but doable if you have a small cart that you can park and push elsewhere. It's definitely manageable if you're balanced and strong enough.
