I have been buying and using stainless steel flip top Aquatix bottles for many years. I carry one with me almost every day, all day. I take them with me when I travel, both at home and abroad. My liquids stay cold all day, even without ice, in the crazy heat! The bottles are durable, easy to clean and, unlike plastic bottles, won't alter the taste of your drink. However, the *best* and most unique feature of Aquatix bottles is the awesome cap!1. The spring-loaded flip-top means your drink is just a push of a button away (which you can do with one hand!), unlike other bottles that require unscrewing/opening the cap (not with one hand). The hinged lid opens and closes beautifully with latches even after many years of regular use! 2. The mouthpiece is narrow enough that I can easily wrap my lips around it and it doesn't make a mess when drinking/pouring, but it's wide enough for the liquid to flow out of the bottle quickly, so no squeezing or squeezing is required suck. Additionally, complete removal of the cap allows access to the full-size bottle opening for super-fast filling.3. With *most* bottles, moisture/saliva collects around the mouthpiece when you close the cap, causing your bottle to smell bad before the day is over. The amazing top stopper design of the Aquatix mouthpiece prevents moisture from entering around the mouthpiece, so your bottle is odor free even after days of use without washing! The seals are excellent at preventing leaks, even after multiple cleanings and *years* of use, and are easy to replace. The easy-to-use lock prevents your bottle from being accidentally opened. The powder coating on the outside gives the bottles a comfortable feel in the hand and prevents them from slipping. Plus they look great! 5. Bottles and caps are easy to clean and interchangeable between 21oz and 32oz sizes! (I recommend using a bottle brush when cleaning so you can clean the inside wall of the bottle.) These bottles make great Christmas gifts, especially with the range of colors available. I'm really looking forward to trying the new caps with handles for easier carrying! Finally, if you are not satisfied with the price compared to cheaper bottles, this is a product that you definitely get what you pay for.
