This pattern is actually very simple as there are no gradients in colour, just solid blocks of each colour. Since I didn't have to think very carefully or count, it was easy while watching TV or talking and didn't last as long as I thought. What I didn't like about the big blocks of color is that I see sharp lines in my rows, it's harder to get a really even stitch. I had to make some very small changes to the pattern, for example the blue checkered square in the center is missing a line on the bottom, so I added that, as well as lines in some places on the monkey's background. are not drawn so I added them so that they have the same squares. Overall it's just as cute as the picture, but maybe the colors are a little less vibrant than the picture.
