My son has tubes in his ears and his ENT said he needs them before swimming or other activities when his head was submerged in water. My son is very concerned about how things fit or feel, so I was worried about what he would think of them. He liked her very much. He said he hardly noticed her. He could also hear his swimming instructor with them. He said his voice was a bit muffled but he could hear it over the other kids and the noise. The earplugs also stayed in place. His doctor also said that we are fine with his ears. It's semi-sticky silicone. (It felt like stupid putty) Not very sticky but just enough to stay in place. I used just over half of one in my ear for my six year old. I received three packs and used 1 pair for two weeks. I could have used them longer but my dog grabbed them.
