They're pretty good for what they are. I would recommend making sure they meet your needs. We bought these for my son's room for him to place some of his Lego creations on. Pros: - Fairly easy to install. You find your spot, mark the two holes, drill the holes, insert the dowel, and then thread the screws through the shelf into the dowels. (Please note that screws/dowels are NOT included.) - No scale bases on the brackets. , it is safer for a small children's room. Cons: - Pay close attention to the dimensions as the shelves are quite narrow. The list of things that fit on it is small (since many Legos are narrow, the size suited us). - These are not fixed shelves. They are made of cardboard and look cheap. They're fine for a 7 year old room, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with them in our living room.
