It's weird to get excited about a small kitchen scale, but I will and here's why: it's so powerful. It's very strong and doesn't seem fragile at all - it's compact. The top folds over to cover the bottom for easy storage without destroying the spring mechanism as the lid protects it. It's easy to calibrate. Instead of that awful screw feature, the whole thing spins to zero when you spin the knob to zero. This way you can avoid getting your dishes dirty by placing a small serving dish/container on top and calibrating it to zero. So easy! - It is easy to read, on the one hand it is the metric system and on the other hand it is imperial. Perfect! Exactly what I wanted and more!
