I recently got a Google Pixel. No SD slot. Why bugle, why? I have 200GB of audio, so I took this disc for that. Works well for media playback, no complaints. My problem is when copying data to or from it constantly glitches and disconnects. This happens because the hard drive is very hot. No, you won't burn yourself, at least I didn't get burned, but I don't keep it for long. The case of the drive is made of plastic, even the USB-A connector is large, plastic on the outside. Unsafe but doesn't help with cooling. I have a drive from another manufacturer. It has an aluminum body so it cools better. To make it work, copy whatever data you want to create, but point a fan at it until it's done. Sandisk, if you're reading this, I'd rather lower the transfer rate than worry about what and how much data was successfully copied. Just an idea.
