Cheap quality broken wire inside

My return window closed a few weeks ago. Sometimes I use a cable to listen to music in the garage. The cable appears to have a break next to the jack that plugs into my iPod. If you just touch it it makes a loud beep that turns off my amp. If you hold the cable in a certain way, it will stop, but it cannot be used if you release it. bullshit for me now Very dissatisfied
