Review on ๐Ÿ”ด Torin T32100 Engine Hoist Accessory: Steel 3 Position Engine Leveler, 3/4 Ton Capacity, Red by Oso Mears

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I shot the engine for the first time - I realized it was magic.

Media failed to load. I've never pulled a motor so I've looked through a lot of youtube beforehand and most of the recommendations needed for an equalizer. I've seen a lot of $50's at Revain, and then this one came out at $17. My son and I literally turned the engine off ourselves within 1/2 hour max after everything was disconnected. As for pen issues, a few mentions - see time-lapse. A quick grind is what I cut off the handle. If you use it, don't point it at the lift like I did, as it will hit the lift arm at an angle if you're using a short lift chain like me. My mistake so instead of lowering the motor I just cut off the handle. At the other end of the equalizer is a large nut which we just used with the jack, no problem. So, price-wise, who cares about the pen? I was most worried about the price, whether it's strong enough. It's 289 SBF and a C4 gearbox, so the estimated weight is 750 pounds. Absolutely no problems and during the process it seemed like a super bomber. As you should also see by now, this has created a large angle for easy removal.

Pros
  • Fully adjustable, with 3 chain mounting holes to accommodate different engine configurations
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
