Hair comes with eight multicolored hair cuffs, a crochet hook and six packs of hair. Good size hook. Big enough to easily crochet hair but not too big. The hair is twisted on top (like a Senegle twist). It is twisted less than a quarter, and then it is stopped by an elastic band as it is twisted, leaving the rest of the hair loose. When styling your hair, you can leave the curls in or take them out. It's easier to install if the coils are left over, even if you pull them out later. The hair is very soft and full. Six packs were enough for my hair and had to be parted a bit when styling because the hair is very thick. The hair does not get tangled easily. It's pretty easy. It should be 1B but looks very black. Doesn't look like 1B at all.
