Filter does not fit Filter

We received a defective filter which unfortunately was opened after a month and found it did not fit the part of the vacuum cleaner it was supposed to be fitted to. The Dirt Devil F44 label on the rim was also missing. We noticed a label on our old filter. Very disappointed that the product was defective and we are unable to return it.
