Peel only half of the fruit
This little gadget did a really good job, but I couldn't get it to peel the whole fruit. I tried canning Bartlett pears and they sank halfway through and got stuck. I haven't tried it with other fruits or potatoes. Disappointed and decided to purchase a manual rotary knife. The return was very easy and I think I will have more success with a manual cleaner.
