Review on 500GB Drive Inspiron E1505 E1705 by Rick Rownd

Contrary to the product description on Amazon, the hard drive sent to me is not compatible with my Dell Inspiron 1545. After installation, I received an error message that the hard drive was not found and advised me to reinstall the device. Reinstalling did not fix the problem. It turned out that the hard drive I ordered was not the right size for my computer, which requires a 9.5mm hard drive, not the 7mm ("slim") drive I received . There is no indication of the size of the item in the product description, only that it is guaranteed to work on my machine. Well it isn't. I am extremely disappointed. Buyer Warning.
