Like many folks right now who have children at home with them since schools and daycare have been closed, I purchased this to continue what he was learning at school. Unfortunately the items in the kit are all pretty small and not as sturdy as one would've hoped. I would have appreciated a more thicker card or cardboard like feel. THe books are small and not reusable so once done, you're pretty much done with the kit.IF your child is super smart or is older than 3 or 4 years old then this is a good kit/gift for kids. Don't count it out as it does help, but I would not recommend for younger than 3 years old.
