Assembly was very easy. I followed the instructions and assembled everything in no time. I was actually looking for a small cage to put my bird in while I cleaned his large cage. Very light weight. My biggest concern is that it's clear plastic and I'm concerned that my bird might overheat. Though it has vents on the sides and screen covers on the end, it would be nice for short stays like transporting a pet to the vet or elsewhere. Also, a perch seems too big for a small bird. There's really no way to add a feeder or water. On a positive note, the plastic walls and tray prevent semen or excrement from flying out.
