Review on πŸ”Œ Efficient Electric Rotato Peeler: Automatic Fruit & Vegetable Peeling Tool with 10 Replacement Blades by Bob Richardson

Not worth the money

After reading some reviews I was delighted with this product. It took me a second to figure out how to put on the blade and the potato. Pretty easy. The potatoes I used were medium sized. I left out the potatoes and let the product work as directed. And what I got was partially peeled potatoes. There were whole threads in the middle that didn't cut at all. So I had to come back with a cleaning knife. I read that someone made a ton of potatoes in a very short time. Spring. I think I can peel potatoes faster than this cheap plastic jar. And when I'm done, the potatoes are actually peeled. There wasn't a single potato that didn't leave several full strips of skin, not to mention all those spots where there was a slight indentation that forced me to finish every potato. Businesses like this know that I'd rather just sell the item rather than work on a refund that costs a fortune to ship. Also, I was so excited I didn't bother keeping the box. A small house means there is not enough space to store boxes. I would not recommend this for any reason. I thought it might save my hands as I have quite a lot of arthritis pain. But I won't even use it again (even if it half peels the potatoes) as it leaves a huge mess that I have to clean up. And the product itself doesn't clean very well, which shocks me and I don't understand. Most plastics are easy to clean. But everything sticks to that plastic, and the sharp part that holds the potato can be painful if your hand slips trying to clear those nooks and crannies (hand slipping is also associated with arthritis problems).
