I bought this for my 91 year old mother thinking her watch was lost in the hospital. It turns out this is not the case. This is an attractive watch for a cheap model and looks better than a men's watch. However, this does not work for people with more than moderately poor vision. My mother has pretty good eyesight for her age. Unfortunately I can't say how long the watch will last as it was lost the day I gave it to my mother. Disappointing but she still has the old Timex.
