Overall this is a quality and comfortable dance shoe. Don't forget to brush them with a shoe brush before first use though, as traction isn't enough out of the box. One slightly odd thing is that they have a feature on the bottom of the shoe that allows you to buckle the bottom of the shoes (this is a design commonly used for high heels) but that didn't work for me and I did had to buckle the strap. Shoes over in the usual way. It's not a major issue, but it would be nice to be able to buckle up from below if needed. IMPORTANT: Usually latin dance shoes have buckle holes in the strap where you can adjust the buckle to your desired size. However, with these shoes you use a similar but different technique, using the buckle as a holding point to prevent the strap from coming loose while dancing. And it works really well, but some people might not get used to it. Another benefit of this is that it is easier and quicker to tie this way. Also, the color of the shoe doesn't quite match the picture as it looks more like 'pink' than the traditional 'orange'. In the end I am very satisfied with the shoes and can recommend them. My daughter used them several times a week for ballroom latin dance competitions. Be sure to adjust them to stay in place. And of course they are very pleasant for the price, especially for this quality.
