These are really bright LED lights. They are layered so that they are dark when the taillights are on and get brighter when the taillights and brake lights are on. They worked fine but on my car these lights disabled traction control and ABS. I know it was those headlights because one day I switched to old lightbulbs, parked the car and the light went out. Luckily my reversing lights have the same cartridge size. As a reversing light, they are incredibly bright and you can actually see the light shining onto the road. Note. I use a turn signal compatible LED turn signal and my car uses a bulb for the turn signals, brake light and parking light. These light sources are polarity sensitive and must be reversed to match the negative and positive light.
