I was going to get my phone and the base broke off the charger just below the ball mount. Now I use a vent mount but I bought it for a cup holder. Now when I use the vent mount the phone randomly turns off and the side mounts release the phone as I drive down the road. I liked the auto close and open feature when I saw it in an ad, but in practice it's not very good for this device. To make matters worse, it charges slowly or not at all, even when it manages to stay on and charge. My phone was plugged in during a 2 hour drive and it went from 45% to 52%. Nothing started and the screen was off. I figured it might be my case slowing down charging so I took it off on the way back only to turn it off even more times than usual and it didn't change the charging department. Now I plug in a different charging cable instead of fiddling with the charger.
