Pretty good irrigator. If you use it once a day, then the charge is enough for 7-8 days (with high-quality cleaning). It charges for 8 hours, then the indicator goes out (as I understand it, this is the charge limit). So I'm not sure that it needs to be kept on charge for a day (an exception before use, after purchase). If you have sore gums, it can hurt, it's better to consult a doctor first;)
