My Kindle will not connect to my car via Bluetooth to play through speakers. I read some tips while researching this to see if it was possible to connect with an audio cable and bought one for that purpose. It works out. I can play Kindle audiobooks through my car speakers. I like the length of the cord and the fact that it retracts. It worked very well on a long car ride with a passenger to manage things and manage the cord. The cable is thin. He quickly developed a problem where the Kindle had to be held at a certain angle in order to play through the speakers. Considering the cord is retractable and designed to be twisted and handled with care, I wasn't impressed. That's probably why they're sold in packs of two. Nonetheless. It worked, I still have the cable to use next time we take a long car ride and want to listen to audiobooks and I didn't pay a fortune for it.
