I needed a pair of these gloves for the kickboxing class I was starting. A few years ago I had very, very crappy shoes that had almost no padding. They definitely have better support, a good fit and decent padding. Not the most comfortable thing to wear but they get the job done and don't make my hands ache or anything. Cause pain but haven't experienced it yet. In terms of durability they seem good but if I use them for an hour every day I think they will wear out pretty quickly. They don't look like heavy-duty gloves. However, for easy handling and protection against gorilla strikes, they are sufficient. They also let your hands breathe decently, so that's a big plus.
