My use case for this is a USB-C dock for my Dell Latitude 5490. So far I've tested the following: - 4K HDMI works with my desktop display extension Laptops (I haven't tried video stream or movie playback). However, there was an occasional disconnect that I had to disconnect and reconnect to get the HDMI video back. - The Ethernet LAN is working. - USB A (connection to monitor hub). - USB-A works. - USB-C power adapter works (delivers enough power so the laptop doesn't complain). Issue: - Buzzing noise when connecting USB-C power adapter. I have to be careful and not leave it unattended when plugged in. I'm afraid it could start a fire.
