it worked great for two weeks

it worked great for two weeks then charging stopped. I looked inside where the battery connects to three pins that correspond to the three pins on the battery. I noticed that there were only two contacts and the third contact was missing. I think that's why it doesn't charge the battery. I inserted the battery very carefully every time I tried to charge the battery. I have no idea why this product decided to stop working.
