We purchase many Melissa and Doug products and are satisfied with their quality. It was a disappointment. My granddaughter has recently become addicted to dolls and I thought this would be a fun addition to her Christmas gifts. The quality was shockingly low. The color is uneven and looks "pressed". There are places where the fabric is wrinkled when applying the paint so there is no paint there. They also appear faintly colored, unsaturated and bright. They also appear smaller than in the photo. My granddaughter is only 2 years old so she doesn't mind. I would be embarrassed if I bought them as a gift for someone outside of our family.
