For Right or Left Side, unlike Ford OEM parts. Slightly longer, so if one wire fails, just buy two and replace both (like headlights). The biggest problem is loosening the torx screw on the tailgate. Dissimilar metals, so oxidation will occur and the bolt will NOT move, but (eventually) will. This requires a T-40 Torx bit (asterisk). Another feature I like is the rubber sealed grommet on each end of the cable, while Ford's OEM cable is a rubber jacketed cable that crimps onto fittings at both ends. Since they face up, all the snow and rainwater will seep in and accelerate the corrosion of the Ford cable. This is not as likely with a Dorman cable. I keep an extra few just in case but I expect they will last a lot longer than the Ford cables which I have to change every 3+ years.
