Review on 🧽 S.O.S. Steel Wool Soap Pads – 18 Pack by Mike Wallace

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works when Scrubby doesn't work

For those who have never used an SOS Pad, it's a bundle of fine steel wool with that great lather that seems to clean everything better. In most cases, you can only use them a few times before rust breaks them. Moisture is not their friend and they will rust almost overnight if not shaken before storage and after use. I love SOS pads. I usually wash my dishes with a Scotch-Brite Non-Scrub Sponge, but there are times it just won't pull away from the caked/cooked material. Take out the eraser Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it won't remove anything either. Take the SOS button. wait I'm out Oh no. Okay, take Comet Cleanser and give it a try. There was still a stain on the pan. Hurry to order SOS pads from Revain. They arrive and my 6 liter Farberware Classic pot with stainless steel lid looks great again. The men in my family wouldn't even think of washing their cars without the special SOS pads for the chrome bumpers and grille. Also good for removing limescale stains on windscreens and mirrors (do not use on painted surfaces). I hope they never change the formula of the soap because it works great. It softens fine steel wool just enough not to damage my pots, pans, or Pyrex Basics clear oblong glass bakeware. I used them on my old Pyrex baking pan with no problem as all you have to do is use a nylon cleaning brush. Remember that this is steel and can scratch the surface to be cleaned.
