Faulty Snaps! for my opinion

PROS:Easy to useGreat optionsLong battery lifeTime on can be set to continuousTwo channels can be independently programmedCONS:Snaps do not stay attached to electrodesFaulty snap resulted in a painful shocking experienceI received this TENS unit and found it very easy to learn to use. It came with the TENS unit, a USB charging cord, an assortment of sizes of snap-attaching electrodes, a plastic piece onto which you adhere reusable electrodes until the next use, 3 cords to plug into the unit - one cord with 4 snaps, and two cords with 2 snaps each, and a bag for storing the unit. The first cord I tried was the 4 snaps cord. I adhered the included electrodes to my back and attached the snaps. The snaps didn't connect with a "snap" sound, but the unit was working. Within minutes, one of the snaps became loose. I reconnected it, but it continued to loosen and at one point, did not disconnect fully and began shocking my back (and not in the good TENS unit way.) I quickly turned the unit off and took out that cord. I did not try that cord again.I tried the other two cords. Although I did not experience that "electrifying" experience again, those snaps did not stay attached well and easily come off with any movement.I'm not sure if I just received a faulty lot of cords, or if this is a new issue with this unit, but for what I paid, I would expect the snaps to work well and certainly not to shock anyone. I would have given this product 5 stars, but a product simply cannot shock a customer and receive more than two stars tops.

Pros
  • The easy operation feature makes it user-friendly, offering a seamless experience for both elderly individuals and beginners.
Cons
  • Can be frustrating to use without a proper understanding of how TENS therapy works.
