The pockets are really big - about the size of a plate. It was a lot more than I expected but then again I didn't really read the description because I only needed my palm sized bags for some of the shower bombs I made. So if it's too big, you can just cut the bag to size and even reuse the leftovers. Heat shrinkage is rapid and expected. I am very happy with this purchase.
