Really well made and strong. The prongs are thick and can be threaded through thick hair for a firm hold. There is no grippy material inside which is a huge plus for my hair type - this material always catches and pulls my hair out - I love that it's smooth and I rely on the strength and length of the claws to get through it hair to go and keep it in place. They work great, have beautiful color patterns and are a good average size so you can use them for double buns without looking like you have a claw sticking out of your head.
