I have several shoulder bags to try. As long as he wins. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015OFQGS0/ is very similar, has some metal hardware but no bottom pocket and other inner pockets - it came second but smelled funny and doesn't have a bottom pocket) It isn't perfect and I'd love to see an updated model, but in its current state I was surprised at how useful it is. I have used it as a Disney bag and as a personal item during the flight. It works great for both and I'm sure I can find other scenarios as well. I think this works particularly well if you want to carry a few things with you - not just a wallet, but not worth a weekend - and have access to them on the go and on the go. Pockets work very well. What I appreciate is that the location of almost all of the zippers makes it easy to unfold and reach any content without removing it. This does not apply to all bags. However, this only applies if the belt goes over the right shoulder. You can flip it to the other side but I don't think the zippers are that accessible in this case. I love that it has a clip to take it off. I used this function. I like that you can switch to both sides. I didn't find it easy to set up, but it was doable. I also liked the stripe on the sunglasses. It seems so simple, but it's really functional. I also attached a carabiner and could carry more in it. It actually helped balance the bag. BELT BAG. The bum bag seemed useless at first and I really wish there was a pocket for my phone. However, from a practical point of view, my phone is not small and it really wouldn't make sense to hold it on my chest like that, it would be easy to get hold of or comfortable to wear, especially for a woman. Thus, a tiny pocket on the strap provides a convenient strap size. It also provides a secure place for ID, credit cards, cash, boarding passes, etc. At Disney, this is the perfect spot if you have an AP or card ticket to keep and an ID to carry right here with you. I found this bag to be the most useful at the park when I didn't bring my wallet with me. However, you can hide the rest of your wallet in one of the inside pockets. Now I want this strap in every bag I carry. BACK POCKET - I could put my giant phone in my back pocket. It fit here and was safe. Getting in and out was not easy. I've found that I use it less and don't take it in or out often at all. This seemed to work pretty well. Large Pocket - iPad fits easily and slides in and out easily. There is some space in front of the flat bottom tablet case, so you can fit a lot more here. For an airplane, snacks, medication and everything else fit in here easily. For parks, fans, maybe a hat, sunscreen, umbrella. The middle pocket easily fits noise-cancelling headphones, where the headphones rotate to be flat, headband out. Those that roll into a tight ball (vmode) might fit better elsewhere, haven't tried it yet. The tiered card holder compartment looks like pockets - the best part is they are not regular card holder compartments. Each goes to full depth so the back had the full depth of the patch pockets. The phone charger fits in well. I was happy with that. This depth makes them much more useful. The bottle cage comfortably fits a variety of water bottles, from mini to small 1 liter bottles, with both soft and hard walls. None of them fell out from under airplane seats, even when unzipped, thrown over the head, taken in or out of rides. The material is a little flimsy so I would be worried in the long run but it works for now. I found it less accessible than my usual shoulder and belt bag side clips, but it got in the way less. The dark blue looks very nice. In general, it's pretty functional. As a result, it turned out to be much more convenient than many other options. This gives hands free backpack elements with much easier access. I found it more convenient than most other options. I was able to walk in it with no problem at all (not to walk a few miles, but to walk as needed and around airports etc.). Less Than Great: ZIPPER: So far they're mostly fine, but feel like they won't last long. and you have to be careful because they are malleable and as others have said they will get stuck to the inner fabric if you are not careful. Do not exaggerate. I wish they had nicer metal and hidden zippers. Accessories - I would like it to be metal. A very similar bag - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015OFQGS0/ - has metal strap clips and is cheaper. I'm not a fan of the cheap lightweight plastic parts on this bag. It feels like it will break down over time. Instead I would like to see him with the same dark metal. That would be more reliable and look better. Waterproof: I want it to be fully waterproof. Light rain is fine. But in a heavier one with an umbrella, I got wet and dry overnight. It reminded me of backpacks as a kid. Although my clothes were dry. And I left the bottom wet compartment open, oops, when I got my umbrella out. Do not do that. All things are made to be sponge. It's terrible if you leave it open in the rain. I want: INTERNAL ZIPPER - This bag looks like it was designed by a guy. If it was designed by a woman I think we would have hidden zippered inner pockets, maybe even more than one. It has no standard slots for women's goods. More attachment options on the bag with metal rings. ZIPPER BLOCKING/CLOSING - The convenience and versatility of this bag is greatly enhanced by the Travelon style zippers that can be clipped on. D-rings or something like that. I am considering modifications to make this possible. Improved lower pocket functionality. I didn't find all that helpful. I also need it waterproof. The ground is spongy, the rain is soaking and got me even wetter than the rain itself. If it's going to be a wet bag (whatever it is), it needs to be filled with standing water. I wouldn't put anything wet in it knowing it can't handle water at all. The design isn't what it should be for a small umbrella either. I mean I put my umbrella in there but my umbrella has little pointy ends and this one has weird ropes and straps and all that stuff it can get caught on. I'm not sure what should be in this bag. I liked having space, but it's not there yet. I basically had to archive it for it to be useful. Although I like that it has a zipper. I used it for gloves and such.
