This balance bike is thoughtfully designed and well-made. If used as an exercise bike, it should be suitable for a very small adult cat or kitten. One of our cats jumps on top and scratches, but the movement of the wheel scares her. it might have been more acceptable if we introduced them to him when they were babies. Otherwise, there are many scratching toys that aren't as carefully designed as this one. We wouldn't buy them again knowing what we know now, but all cat purchases are a calculated risk.
