Product runs a little small so if you usually need a small in brands such as adidas in the same style of pants then you should get a medium and so on. I got the medium because I felt like it may be this way and I’m glad I did they would’ve been too small for my son in a small his usual size and his body type is pretty lean amd average height for a 14 year old. The lower leg is pretty slim and looks like they will just be long enough for him and he’s about 5’6”. Any shorter and they’d be no good, this size will probably fall at mid ankle. Material is decent but does have that smooth surface polyester look and feel. I’m hoping they will not get snagged or picked easily but not sure yet because they’re a gift later. Overall they seem like a retry good buy but make sure you get a bigger size or you will have to return. If the person is of different body shape than sim than I’m not sure it will work out because they’re definitely made with a slim design in the waist and all the way down especially calves and ankle.
