My 16 month old niece loves her ball pit but is gradually growing out of it so I figured it was time for a bigger size. It's exactly what I was hoping for for the size and I love the fact that it folds up and the material is easier to clean and doesn't stain like the thinner material that covered her old ball pit. The foam in this ball pit is firm, the walls don't collapse, which is ideal because she can't jump in and out as easily and it's harder for her to throw balls everywhere. What I don't like about it is that pit with balls - the floor. Instead of a layer of fabric attached to the floor for the mat to rest on, this ball pit has just a loop and a few triangles of fabric at the corners. This support is insufficient to maintain shape and allows the balls to slide through the floor from either end. It's annoying.
