Fun for kids room and I think you could wear it for adults. The cable gets in the way and quite a nuisance if you want to install it somewhere. I was lucky enough to use it over the door and run the wire over the molding. Comes with battery and USB options but I unplugged the USB and cut the cable to get it out of the way / which helps but is still annoying. Gives off a cute light, like a night light for my kids. BTW it never ran long enough to see if the timer worked, but it doesn't seem to drain the 3 AA batteries it has in it.
