.but unfortunately the reality didn't live up to my expectations. These things are very fragile. The mounting system is a real problem: there's a rubber plug that expands when you put a bolt in it, but you have to install a nut before you can put anything into the end of the handlebar, which is basically impossible. I had to first put the nut in the rubber stopper, then force it into the steering wheel, struggling all the time to keep the mirror from slipping (the mirror coating is very soft and scratches very easily). I returned them after successfully installing the mirrors and then rode the bike. And then the right mirror fell down and hung under the crossbar. It wasn't possible to tighten or adjust, so I ordered new mirrors that attached directly to my bar. They don't look as pretty, but they work much better.
