I personally found this a big disappointment. A lot of reviews have talked about bright light, but I found it bright enough for a very small space and not very useful for any type of workspace. I bought a light for a work area in my garage that has cabinets above and a countertop below where I work with carburetors. Definitely not bright enough to be useful. I then took it to my small office and tried to fit it between my desk and the bottom of the cage, but it's not shiny enough to be useful. I think I have higher expectations for what I consider bright. If you are in complete darkness and turn it on, you can use it for decorative lighting.
