This product has a grub screw that prevents or at least greatly reduces the problem of "filling too quickly" in the new SodaStream canisters. However, the product is overloaded with two ball valves. The first ball valve may not be needed as the same goal can be achieved with a CO2 storage valve. A second ball valve to relieve the pressure in the line can be created by simply repositioning the pin. All of these extra parts create new vulnerabilities, and that's exactly what happened to me about three months after purchasing it. The first ball valve began to leak. Also, it's a more versatile ball valve model, so you won't be able to fix a leak as shown in the YouTube video. I have purchased another fill valve which is more difficult to use but is so simple that it is very unlikely to fail.
