These boots are easy to put on a Shih Tzu and I have found these to be the only boots my dog can walk in. I have four pairs, but the problem is the elastic at the bottom of the foot, it breaks after about four walks, and pretty soon the threads that attach the pad to the fleece start to come out, and after a week or two (if not sooner ) the pads fall off and / or are completely torn. In the winter I constantly re-sew the pads or cut off torn pieces and cut new material that I have to glue and then sew on at the bottom. Also, the quality of the velcro and elastic is poor. In no time the elastic deteriorates and the velcro holds not in all 12 little boots I own anymore. Although I cut my dogs claws, they end up poking through the fleece in the toe area, so sewing the holes is a never-ending job.
