I'm just getting started, but I've seen the benefit of a good tool, so. I bought the SpeedyJig XL. Although you can't navigate the numbers printed on it, you can adjust it for the exact length nearby. Then place the buckles on the bracket and use a ruler or tape measure to set them accurately. Different sizes/brands/styles of buckles will change the exact length of your piece, so don't adjust it according to the numbers on the template because you think it will work correctly. The mount does its job and makes it MUCH easier! I can't comment on durability as I just bought it. User friendliness. high scores. The price of money. not as good as easy to steal for $30.
