The belts are sturdy, but awkward to use. When tightening, the belt end goes UNDERNEATH the buckle, and if you want to cinch it tight, you can either PUSH the belt into the buckle (awkward) OR reach underneath the belt just past the buckle and try pulling the end of the belt (also very awkward). The plus side of this is that the belt end does not show (not a big deal). The belt strap itself is very sturdy (very handy as I do wear a holster), I need the belt tight so the holster doesn't sag. I am kind of getting use to the awkwardness, but did want to advise on this. The belt comes with extra sets of screws that hold and lock the buckle onto the belt via 2 holes on that end. I trimmed it on the buckle end but trying to put 2 new holes in a thick nylon web belt was a real nightmare. I assumed that was the way to do it since they supplied extra screws. Well, I learned my lesson. I adjusted the length of the second belt by cutting the leading end of the belt (non-buckle end). Cut it so it was rounded, and heated the fuzzy edge on a gas stove, smoothed it out and that took about 30 seconds. Buckle seems to hold the set position OK, but time will tell as both belt and buckle wear.UPDATE: 07/06/22 I lowered my rating down to 1 star. While I was using this belt the other day, my holster was sagging a bit. I found it was almost impossible to tighten the belt. Once it is snug, it is impossible to effectively push the belt further into the buckle. Since the belt is snug, it was virtually impossible to reach underneath to tug on the end of the belt to try and pull it. Since I modified the belts to fit, they can not be returned. At least they were not that expensive, lesson learned.
