Make sure the door is clean
When I used the product for the first time, it didn't stick to the door. I then cleaned the door to remove the old glue from the previous panel. I used Goo Gone for Auto and it worked great. Then wiped with alcohol. After that, the trim worked fine and stayed on the door.
