Review on ProTaper 024009 BLK Handlebar Factory Suzuki by Satish Tegan

Excellent handlebar, very nice, responsive yet strong. No, I'm not reviewing my girlfriend, I'm reviewing the EVO steering wheel. The only problem was that the ID on the clutch side tapers a few inches from the end of the bar, maybe 1/2mm. This made it impossible to use my previous end-of-bar inserts (to secure full rotation handguards). I had to purchase BRP threaded inserts ($30 for the kit including the faucet) and thread the inside of the handlebar to install the BRP blocks. Then everything went great. I've spoken to other people who didn't notice the bore narrowing issue, so they may have used different inserts on the end of the rod. I've tried standard KTM EXC inserts, which didn't fit at all, and Cycra flared inserts, which fit but weren't secure enough for my liking.
