so far, so good. The hanger knot is stronger than other shoe hangers of this type that I have used. My last one usually has the hangers riveted to a piece of vinyl. On this one, the entire top of the assembly is a fairly solid metal frame, and the hangers attach directly to that frame. Hopefully this description will be a little clearer in the attached photos. Neither the upper frame nor the temples showed any sign of flexing, which is saying something because a dozen pairs of shoes can get pretty heavy. It has been hanging in my closet for over a month now and the fabric that makes up the shoe holes shows no signs of stretching or tearing and the stitching remains perfectly intact. Note. In many cases, vinyl, nylon, or similar products have a strong odor when you unroll them and take a while to air out. This does NOT apply to this product. Additional note. Below the photos I've included one showing a 5 inch bottle of shoe powder in one of the small side pockets so you have an idea of how much storage you can expect from them.
