I've tried various 80's alumina discs with relative success, but this is different. I usually need 3 discs to complete one of my projects. Each disc quickly clogs or abrasives are removed from the disc in different places, forcing me to swap out the disc for professional results. The problem for me is that I have to remove the tray, remove the dust cover (3 screws) and remove the very sticky pad. I also have to use Goo-gone to clean the metal base so I can attach a new pad and reassemble the grinder. After all that, I need to level the tray for cleanliness. I switched to these sanding pads on my last project, I only used 1 disc and the pad lives on after the project is complete. It is relatively uncluttered and can be reused without much loss of integrity. This product has saved me a lot of time and hassle and is now my favorite product for 80 grit grinding wheels. I am also considering buying a finer grit of the same zirconia material from the same manufacturer. I've used these blades on wood, 360 brass, resin, and hardened steel and they stay sharp everywhere! I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a durable sanding pad for these materials.
