Review on Faria 12801 Euro Fuel Level Gauge (E-1/2-F) - 2 Inch, Black by Robert Wells

First, I chose this gauge for the simple, clean finish, and the size ultimately suited my non-standard use. Most others give you facial breaks, which I find to be an added mess. Second, this works well in my non-professional application. I installed it on a new mower that didn't have a fuel level monitor (while mowing I had to stop, get up and open the hood to check the fuel level). Note: For my application I had to remove part of the rear cover (mounting bracket) and fairing from the two built in mounting bushings, but again I did not install this on the boat. The space I was dealing with was insanely tight. I used a new tongue fuel gauge on my mower and the inaccuracies (reading about 1/4 tank below actual) are due to the design of the fuel tank. Summary: A good little clean looking sensor at a good price that doesn't require reading glasses.
